Fig and cinnamon jam

The figs in this home made jam come directly from our orchard and undergo a rigorous selection process. Minimum amounts of sugar are added since figs are naturally rich in sugar.
Use:
The combination of figs and cinnamon in this jam is excellent. There is the immediate exotic aroma of cinnamon and the taste combines the sweetness of figs and the delicate, rounded perfume of cinnamon. This jam is particularly good for making jam tarts. Also recommended as an accompaniment to strong flavored hard cheeses such as pecorino.
Storage:
Ideally the jam should be kept in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Once opened store in the refrigerator and consume within 3 or 4 days.
